(Brandon, Miss.)—On Thursday, January 18, Michael Guest, the District Attorney for Madison and Rankin Counties, held an announcement event in Brandon for his campaign for the U.S. Congress in Mississippi’s Third Congressional District.
A little more than 24 hours after shoo-in incumbent Rep. Gregg Harper announced he would not run for re-election this year, the first candidate to replace him qualified for the seat.
